_{Hello everyone, welcome to another of my journal series! The 'Should'a been a DD!' series. I would like to thank again continue to thank `ginkgografix very much for making this all possible and giving me the 12-month premium membership! You may be thinking: 'whats the point?'. Well I'm about to answer some all important questions!}

"What are your goals here on DD?"

_{My primaries aims are toBring back the art to dA
Un-cover underexposed talented artists, and amazing true pieces of art
To inspire and encourage other artists
To lobby the respect of all expressions of art
AND to VERY aggressively lobby the distinction between ART and PORN!}

"What do you hope to achieve with this series?"

_{Art has always been a passion of mine, I respect art in all it's forms and really appreciate the efforts artists put into their crafts. However, I feel there should be a distinction between TRUE art and just going through motions. I feel as if there is a lack of 'art' and a lack of expression on behalf of artists. I want to feature the artists, I believe, have put their souls into their work. I want to raise exposure of the pieces I have suggested as DDs, and I thin should be DDs, and lobby the expression and originality that many works lack.}

Tiger Boxer by *Eltasia
_{I can not even attempt to summon the words to do this piece justice! I am just thinking to myself, when have I ever seen a boxing Tiger? And when have I ever seen such an amazing and unique shot! This piece is honestly one of the most unique and breathtaking pieces I have seen in a very long time. It is a perfect capture, the subject has been perfectly exposed (which is not always easy when the scene is covered with snow), you have managed to combine and balance the cool tones of the scene with the balance this with the warm tones of the Tiger's fur! I just hope this piece receives a DD.}

_{*MariaAmanda is an absolutely amazing member of the community, continuously supplying us with amazing art, and amazing stock: and this piece is no exception! A manga style Japanese pose with a nice black katana! I'm sure there is lots of useful pieces members could come up with using this stock.}

_{'looking forward' is a truly amazing piece of photography! One of the most amazing portraits I have seen in a while! Whats amazing about this piece? I'll tell you: the pose, the outfit, the scene, the lighting, all of it! This piece just screams DD at me!}

_{I accepted 'Blue hair' at GetDailyDeviations the other day, and I didn't have to think twice about accepting. Another example of a talented artist, and another example of an amazing shot! A very tasteful shot, a very relaxed pose and relaxed attire: sort of the picture I have in my head when I can't wait to get home and relax!}

Not much to say about me, I have not been a member for long. I use to use stumble across amazing works and resources on deviantArt, so I decided to sign up!

I can remember the first time ever that art in whatever form had touched my heart, I remember wisps of my childhood and the one thing I will never forget is how much i loved Tom & Jerry! One day I heard Liszt`s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 being played on Tom & Jerry and I instantly fell in love with art in all forms for the rest of my life! I used to also watch Art Attack constantly when I was a little kid, and still have the odd drawing lying around from my childhood. I still draw, but sadly I am not as good as I used to be and never have any time. It makes me sad, but I do try and practice my Art forms as much as I can!

I have many favorites in the art world, I love Chopin and Liszt with a passion: and I also love Da Vinci, Bernini and think Banksy is an amazing artist too! I love Ansel Adams photography, but have no favorite photographer in general.

I have a Canon EOS 50D a Canon EOS 7D and several lenses I switch between. And of course I use my good ol` handy pencil!

I have a few lenses on my wish list so I can shoot some more amazing shots but I have no money yet!

I wanted a better telephoto lens, a 60mm macro EF-S lens and always wanted a fisheye lens! But I would probably get bored of it after a while!
